For too long, lady pandaren have been forced into a very strict fashion trend. We all tied our red or black hair into pigtails, slapped on some premade gear, and adventured forth as an army of unfortunate clones. It sort of reminded me of middle school, where looking up-to-date and fashionable was incredibly important, but no one really knew how to do it properly so we all just copied each other.
But no more, ladies! With the latest beta update, female pandaren can not only customize their fur color, face, and hair style, but we can also choose from eight vibrant highlights and six styles of earrings.
The earrings are fully implemented, though because we can’t visit the barbershop yet, all previously existing pandaren won’t have them. Hair highlights cannot be selected through the UI, but can be found by clicking “Random” many times (sometimes you have to exit and restart character creation because the “Random” button doesn’t always show up).
Hair Highlights
My hair in real life is brown with bright red at the bottom, which is one reason why I’m so excited about these additions. I couldn’t find a “no highlight” option, but if you don’t like them you can choose a black skin with the black highlight (the colors are slightly different, but not obviously).
Earrings
All earrings are jade and gold. You can pick these through the UI right now. There is an earring-less option.
